Hello all and welcome to week 4.
What an exciting week with the whole school performance.
Plus Whakapono 19 starting new projects in class to help the school.
So our project the next 2 weeks is creating an outdoor activity for our breaks using only cement
The children have decided to make chess boards and a table tennis.
We started our trail and error. Children came up with adding dirt to the cement mix with some water.
Another group removed the dirt and mixed the cement and water together.
They came up with some really good prototypes.
The children are now going to make a plan and inquire about how to make it scale size so children can use a table tennis and chess board during breaks.
