Kia Ora Whanau
What a very busy week Whakapono 19 and Rowandale School has had.
This week Whakapono 19 worked on recreating Andy Warhol's self portrait. The learning outcome for the children was:
- - Use tone to show light in portrait drawings and polystyrene prints based on observation and artists' works
- - Contrast black and white areas in their prints in the style of German expressionist woodcut block prints
Friday we were introduced to our new buddy class Aroha 3. We have spent some time with Aroha 4. But this was our first buddy time with Aroha 3 and we were looking forward to it.
Awesome artwork W19! We are looking at a black and white Shared book this week- we will definitely have to have a walk through all the ILE rooms for some inspiration. So cool to see A3 and W19's meet and greet!
